Through social networks, a video was disseminated showing the exact moment in which a woman loses her life after being brutally run over by a dump truck that was circulating through the streets of the Tláhuac district in Mexico City, and what has caused the most indignation is that the person responsible fled, so the case has caused a great commotion on digital platforms.

These unfortunate events occurred around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, April 1 at the intersection of La Turba and Guillermo Prieto avenues in the La Draga neighborhood of Tlahuac, where a woman was about to cross the street, however, when she was right in the middle of the asphalt, she was brutally rammed by a dump truck.

In the powerful images broadcast on digital platforms it could be seen that the heavy unit dragged the young woman for several meters until it ran over her tires and finally unhooked her leaving her lying on the asphalt and the truck operator did not stop his march and fled the area at full speed.

These tragic events were witnessed by dozens of people who were in the area, who immediately requested the attention of the authorities. It is worth mentioning that, despite the quick arrival of the emergency teams, nothing could be done to save the life of the 26 year old woman, and it took several minutes to locate some of her relatives so that they could take care of the funeral arrangements.

Through a press release, the Secretariat of Public Safety of Mexico City announced that after an effective investigation and support from C2 Oriente, the unit involved in these events was located in a property located on Tláhuac Avenue and Santa Cruz Street in the Santa Ana Poniente neighborhood, where a 27 year old man was arrested for his probable responsibility in the hit-and-run of the 26 year old woman.

The fatal accident happened on Wednesday 3rd, in Governador Valadares, in the East of Minas Gerais. A security camera near the scene recorded the incident.

The man, his identity not released, was walking across the road when hit. The truck sideswiped the man, who was fatally crushed between the two vehicles, was unable to resist his injuries and died instantly according to witness reports. The fire department was triggered and found the death at the scene.

Technical expertise from the Civil Police was also present to carry out the usual work. The Federal Highway Police (PRF) controlled traffic and recorded the occurrence, as it is a federal highway.
