The accident occurred on February 23 at 16:50 on Zosimovskaya Street in Vologda. A 41-year-old Hyundai Solaris taxi car drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Volkswagen car. The taxi driver and his male passenger, born in 1992, were killed.
The deceased passenger of the taxi turned out to be Evgeny Bilovol, a teacher and scientist at Vologda State University.

At least three people died and 20 were injured on Saturday after a milk tanker rammed into three cars which were parked near a fair in Sikkim's Ranipool. Several people gathered in the area got crushed under the vehicles as the force of the collision pushed them into the mela ground.CCTV footage of the incident shows the moment the cars got pushed into the fair ground after the tanker rammed into them. Onlookers who were not injured in the incident rushed to help the people who got under the vehicles.
As per a preliminary probe, the milk tanker's brake failed, leading to the accident. The injured were taken to the Central Referral Hospital and the death toll is likely to increase.
The mela ground was filled with people at the time of the accident as a 'tambola' game was being held there.
The milk tanker had the Sikkim Milk Union's label on its side.

A crash at a busy Denver intersection left a disabled man dead. Denver Police report a man crossing an intersection in a wheelchair was struck by a large truck late Thursday morning. The crash is still under investigation, and the name of the victim has not yet been released. Police say the driver of the truck stayed at the scene.
