Through social networks, a video was disseminated showing the exact moment in which a woman loses her life after being brutally run over by a dump truck that was circulating through the streets of the Tláhuac district in Mexico City, and what has caused the most indignation is that the person responsible fled, so the case has caused a great commotion on digital platforms.

These unfortunate events occurred around 11:40 a.m. on Monday, April 1 at the intersection of La Turba and Guillermo Prieto avenues in the La Draga neighborhood of Tlahuac, where a woman was about to cross the street, however, when she was right in the middle of the asphalt, she was brutally rammed by a dump truck.

In the powerful images broadcast on digital platforms it could be seen that the heavy unit dragged the young woman for several meters until it ran over her tires and finally unhooked her leaving her lying on the asphalt and the truck operator did not stop his march and fled the area at full speed.

These tragic events were witnessed by dozens of people who were in the area, who immediately requested the attention of the authorities. Some of the witnesses also indicated to the uniformed officers the characteristics of the unit that ran over the woman, which was the key to initiate the investigations.

It is worth mentioning that, despite the quick arrival of the emergency teams, nothing could be done to save the life of the 26 year old woman, and it took several minutes to locate some of her relatives so that they could take care of the funeral arrangements.

Through a press release, the Secretariat of Public Safety of Mexico City announced that after an effective investigation and support from C2 Oriente, the unit involved in these events was located in a property located on Tláhuac Avenue and Santa Cruz Street in the Santa Ana Poniente neighborhood, where a 27 year old man was arrested for his probable responsibility in the hit-and-run of the 26 year old woman.

The dump truck and the detainee were placed at the disposal of the authorities and it is expected that in the next few hours an agent of the Public Prosecutor's Office will define his legal situation, for now, the detainee will be treated as innocent until the authorities determine otherwise.

The accident occurred at about 2:45 p.m. on April 2, on Highway 1, passing through Hao Son Bac village, Hoa Xuan Nam commune, Dong Hoa town, Phu Yen province.

The recorded image shows that a man driving a motorbike was traveling on the road when he suddenly crashed straight into the head of a truck traveling in the opposite direction.

The collision caused the man riding the motorbike to die on the spot, and the motorbike was seriously damaged. More information in Lao Dong newspaper, the victim is Nguyen Duy Q. (born 1978, residing in Hoa Xuan Nam commune, Dong Hoa town).

The truck in the above accident was a driving practice vehicle of GS Cao Nguyen Driving Testing Center headquartered in Phu Yen.

The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified.

As a result of this accident, Abdul Basid died at the scene due to severe head injuries.
