August 26, 1991 a man was filming the last of the Burlington Northern E9 locomotives in the Chicagoland Area, Downers Grove.
The locomotive that hit her (BN 9912 E9A) Is preserved in a museum in Tennessee Central Museum awaiting a full restoration.
She was walking with her lawyer to help sign some divorce papers with her husband.
The train was traveling at 60-70mph at the time of impact.

There is no aftermath but the full tape is said to show some but the full tape is considered lost media. Im showing you the only part of the known tape to exit.

Bastrop County, Texas, United States
Officials revealed new information on Wednesday following a deadly bus crash in Bastrop County.
Texas DPS confirmed to KVUE that the vehicle driven by Ryan Wallace was a 2024 Hyundai, not a Dodge Charger, as authorities detailed during their preliminary investigation.
The investigation into the violent crash involving a cement truck and Hays CISD school bus remains under investigation, but DPS confirmed to KVUE that no charges have been filed at this time.
The new information comes as KVUE has obtained video of the crash from the school district. Five-year-old Ulises Rodriguez, a student at Tom Green Elementary School, and Wallace were killed in the crash after the concrete truck veered into the westbound lanes of State Highway 21.
Footage of the crash shows the concrete truck collide with the bus, which was carrying 44 pre-K students and 11 adults from the school as they returned from a field trip to a zoo in Bastrop County. Wallace was driving behind the bus, according to officials.
The video shows the bus driver tried avoiding the crash by partially moving onto the shoulder before it was hit. The entire crash happened in less than 10 seconds.
The truck driver did weed and cocaine.

On August 26, 1991 around 5:52pm a 39 year old man was filming the last of the Burlington Northern E9 locomotives in the Chicagoland Area, Downers Grove. When 41 year old Mary T. Wojtyla and her unnamed lawyer walking to finalize divorce papers with Mary's husband ignored the crossing warnings and tried to beat the train. She was struck by the train at 68mph. Her body was flung into the camera and into a crossing control hut behind the camera, she died instantly from impact from the train. Her estate tried to sue Metra for wrongful death but it was dismissed shortly after. There was no injury to any of the bystanders including the lawyer.

The camera kept recording after it was knocked down and was recording for about 20 minutes before the incident, but the full footage of it is considered Lost Media. Banned From Television has some of the footage before the incident. There are no hints to the full videos current location.

The camera man was not filming with his son/grandson.
The camera man or any bystanders were not stuck by the body.
The police didn't have the engineer reenact it.
The engineer knew he hit someone and stopped.

The locomotive is not abandoned, it's preserved in Tennessee.
The locomotives built in the 1950's as EMD E8A or E9A locomotives and were originally built for the Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad and served in passenger service unit 1970 where there were merged into Burlington Northern, they were quickly repainted. All were rebuilt in 1973 by Morrison-Knudsen and renumbered to 9900-9925. After the formation of Metra the locomotive were transferred to them via lease. The locomotive focused on is BN 9912. Most EMD first generation locomotives were retired in the 1970-80's but theses lasted until 1992 when all where finally retired. Burlington Northern merged with the Santa Fe in 1996 to make Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

backstory:
a woman (60) was going to get her grandchildren from school. at some point she encountered a closed road at the railway crossing due to construction works. instead of taking a different route, the woman removed the construction zone fences on one side of the road and kept on driving. after this she encountered another construction fence on the other side of the railway. it is at this point that the video starts.
as the woman wants to remove the second set of fences. the bell for the oncoming train goes off. this strikes fear into the woman. it also doesn't help that the construction worker is telling her that she will be fined for this. this increasing panic puts the woman in a shock like state. the construction worker removes the second set of fences so the woman can pas. (it is believed) when the woman opens the car door, the car puts itself in park brake mode. when she closes the door again and wants to get away she has the instinct to put the car in drive, but the parking brake wont allow the car to move (hence the revving engine). it is moments later that the woman is hit by the train as she is still too shocked to think clearly and get out in time.
the woman survived.
however there exists another video of her removing the first set of fences. this video seems to be removed from the internet. without the first video it would seem like the woman casually drove in to the construction zone. the video used here (the second video) is also the "go to" video that the media uses as it seems to shift the blame to the construction worker for not helping her.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment when a vehicle ran over a three-year-old boy who was playing in the street, and despite the fact that the unit passed completely over his body, the minor was allegedly unharmed in the accident. According to the recording released by the red note journalist, Carlos Jiménez , the events occurred at 2:00 p.m. last Tuesday, August 16, on a street in Mexico City. The video shows the moment when a private white vehicle reverses to park, while a child runs to the rear of the unit and bends down to try to grab what appears to be a toy. Subsequently, the vehicle reverses again and hits the minor, who tries to get up quickly, but is hit by the movement of the tires, which passed completely over his body.'

This took place in Viña del mar, Chile, in December 17th 2021, during an illegal street race.
Kristofer Fallaque was a 39-year-old Peruvian man that moved to Chile looking for better oppotunities for himself and his family; he was married and had a daughter.
In the very early hours of the morning Kristofer tried to cross the Camino Internacional Street, completely unaware that there was an illegal street race taking place in that very Street; when he attempted to cross the street he was run over by one of the speeding vehicles in the race, a blue BMW, killing him instantly; after running Kristofer over the person driving the BMW tried to flee, but because of state of the vehicle after the impact, they were only able to drive 1km before being stopped by the people that witnessed the incident until the police arrived.
AFTERMATH

The BMW driver was swiftly taken into police custody, and they were later put on house arrest while they awaited trial; i did not find any information on who this person was or what their sentence was but we can assume that they were convicted for involuntary manslaughter, and that carries a sentence of 12 months to 8 years in prison with possibility of perole; it can also include a fine along with the prison sentence (i'm not a lawyer, and i truly hope i did not commit any mistakes while writing this specific part).
PERSONAL NOTE
In every video post i do (excluding Effortposts) i also like to do a little bit of research to give the video some context and if possible a backstory, although in this case i feel like it got a little bit too extensive. This post is not meant to be an Effortpost, because i personally consider it did not take that much effort for me to make (i hope this doesn't sound like i'm bragging or something), but if the admins consider this does count as an effort post then so be it. While i was doing my small research i did not spect the backstory to be this tragic, and this case also really SHOWED me how dangerous an illegal street race can be. In links below there are also statements given by Kristofer's family members and acquaintances, so if you speak spanish i strongly recommend you to checking them.

37 year old nurse Nicole Lorraine Linton killed six people, including an infant and a pregnant woman, were killed and eight others were injured after Linton sped through a red light, causing a fiery multi-vehicle crash.
Among the Injured were six kids and two adults, who suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Nicole Lorraine Linton, survived the crash with moderate injuries and was charged with six counts of murder and five counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
Linton was arrested by the CHP the day of the crash and remains jailed without bail.

This accident occurred on October 9, 2012 in Karaganda (Kazakhstan), the date in the video is wrong. This is a playback of the video shot on the camera on the computer. Why the author did not post the original on YouTube, he did not explain.
The official report states that a 41-year-old Mercedes driver hit a pedestrian in the Golubye Prudy neighborhood. He was not going to wait for the arrival of the traffic police, so he gasped desperately. As a result, the offender drove into the oncoming traffic lane at high speed and collided with two cars at once. The Mercedes driver was hospitalized with serious injuries and died in the hospital.
In the final collision, four people were injured - all members of the same family.
In the comments to the video, they wrote that the police were chasing the Mercedes.
There is no info on the pedestrian.

In the early morning hours of December 25, a driver driving a white Ford car in the area of San José del Jaral in Atizapan de Zaragoza, State of Mexico, practically ran over a tree and smashed his vehicle, which was left all over Lago de Guadalupe Avenue.The accident occurred in the area near the Tec de Monterrey, where neighbors only heard the roar of the rollover, and some even saw how the driver was projected while his car was destroyed.
The car crash caused the death of the driver, as the man's body was thrown out of the car, while it continued to tear apart for several meters, crossing the traffic from one direction to the other, until it was embedded in the retaining wall of Lago de Guadalupe Avenue, completely destroyed.
In the accident, the car was fragmented, where the engine and the transmission box were detached and were scattered along several meters as well as the bodywork.
Firefighters and civil protection personnel arrived at the site and confirmed the death of the 45 year old driver, whose body was left projected on the asphalt along with pieces of metal and plastic.
