Langley BC Train Accident Sept 11 2015, Driver with minor injuries, the other paramedic in the back in stable condition and the 87 year old patient later died in hospital. Tragically the ambulance never cleared the tracks. When the train approaches, the traffic lights are red in all four directions allowing all traffic to stop until the locomotive crosses then the lights resume.

Corey Scott was a motorcycle stuntman from Indiana that specialized in precision driving. On February 8th 1997 Scott was performing a stunt at Orange Bowl stadium in Miami, Florida. The stunt called for Scott to grab onto a large net after jumping a ramp on his motorcycle. He made the jump but didn't manage to grab hold of the net, and fell 60 feet to his death. When Scott hit the ground, he landed on his head and broke his neck.

Monitoring cameras caught the collision between two motorcycles at a street intersection in Praia Grande (SP).
A 32-year-old woman died after being thrown from a motorcycle, which collided with another, at an intersection in Praia Grande , on the coast of SΓ£o Paulo. The fatal victim was a passenger, who was riding pillion.
he accident happened in the Vila SΓ΄nia neighborhood. In the video, it is possible to see that the motorcycle with the passenger was coming from Rua Maria Martins Batista. Upon arriving at the intersection with Rua Miguel Guerra, the vehicle hit the motorcycle that was coming from that road.
With the impact of the collision, the three occupants of the motorcycles were thrown into the middle of the street. In the images, it is possible to see that one of them gets up after the accident, but soon falls again.
In a statement, Praia Grande City Hall reported that the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called on Wednesday afternoon (24), but found the passenger had died at the scene of the accident.
According to the municipal administration, the other two motorcyclists were rescued and taken to the Central Emergency Room (PS Central), managed by the SΓ£o Paulo Association for the Development of Medicine (SPDM).
The city also stated that the accident caused an oil spill on the runway. Therefore, agents from the Traffic Department were called to signal and place sawdust on the road. They were responsible for maintaining the street after the expert arrived and cleared the area.
The SΓ£o Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) reported that forensics were called to the scene and the body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML). The case was registered as manslaughter while driving a motor vehicle by the Praia Grande Judicial Police Center (CPJ).

On a Saturday evening, at 19:40, girls aged 14 and 15 were crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. They were hit by the driver of a Toyota car - a man born in 1963, a resident of Pyatigorsk.
According to β360β , a 14-year-old schoolgirl died on the spot from her injuries, a 15-year-old girl died in a hospital in the city of Georgievsk. It is noted that the driver has already been prosecuted for violating traffic rules over 40 times.
βPolice officers have established that previously the driver of a foreign car was brought to administrative responsibility more than 40 times for traffic violations, most of which were exceeding the speed limit,β additional information is provided.
Traffic police officers and an investigative team are working at the scene of the incident. An investigation is being carried out to determine the circumstances of the accident.

Taman Serai Wangi, Malaysia
A teenage girl was killed and her friend seriously injured after the motorcycle they were riding skidded and hit a wall of a supermarket in Taman Serai Wangi, Padang Serai here, this afternoon.
The victim. identified as Nurin Balqis Mohamad Zakri, 18, died at the scene due to severe head injuries.
Kulim district police chief Superintendent Mohd Azizul Mohd Khairi said in the 12pm incident the victim was riding her Honda Vario motorcycle with her friend when she is believed to have lost control and crashed.
He said the motorcycle the girls rode from the direction of Jalan Serai Wangi 5 to Jalan Serai Wangi 10 crashed upon nearing a supermarket located in a row of shoplots.
The motorcycle ridden by Nurin Balqis had allegedly hit the concrete slab of a drain, before crashing into the wall of the supermarket.
"As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was confirmed dead at the scene," he said when contacted today.

Kota Samarahan, Malaysia
A factory operator lost his life yesterday (April 24) afternoon after his motorcycle was hit by a car at the Kilometre 16 traffic light on Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa.
According to TV Sarawak (TVS), the 43-year-old victim from Batu 21 Jalan Penrissen succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the scene of the incident while the 27-year-old driver, who is a university student, did not sustain any injuries.
The Kota Samarahan District Police Headquarters (IPD) received a report regarding the incident at 5.30pm, said the Kota Samarahan District Police Chief DSP Jaimi Husin.
Jaimi said that the accident was believed to have taken place when the motorcyclist was travelling from Kota Samarahan, heading to 7th Mile.
βHe (the motorcyclist) was hit by a car that was moving along the straight road from 8th Mile to Kota Samarahan.
βAccording to the driver of the car, the traffic light was green. After the collision, the motorcyclist fell on the road,β said Jaimi in a statement yesterday.
The motorcycle was damaged on the front left side whereas the car was damaged on the front right side.

This took place in ViΓ±a del mar, Chile, in December 17th 2021, during an illegal street race.
Kristofer Fallaque was a 39-year-old Peruvian man that moved to Chile looking for better oppotunities for himself and his family; he was married and had a daughter.
In the very early hours of the morning Kristofer tried to cross the Camino Internacional Street, completely unaware that there was an illegal street race taking place in that very Street; when he attempted to cross the street he was run over by one of the speeding vehicles in the race, a blue BMW, killing him instantly; after running Kristofer over the person driving the BMW tried to flee, but because of state of the vehicle after the impact, they were only able to drive 1km before being stopped by the people that witnessed the incident until the police arrived.
AFTERMATH

The BMW driver was swiftly taken into police custody, and they were later put on house arrest while they awaited trial; i did not find any information on who this person was or what their sentence was but we can assume that they were convicted for involuntary manslaughter, and that carries a sentence of 12 months to 8 years in prison with possibility of perole; it can also include a fine along with the prison sentence (i'm not a lawyer, and i truly hope i did not commit any mistakes while writing this specific part).
PERSONAL NOTE
In every video post i do (excluding Effortposts) i also like to do a little bit of research to give the video some context and if possible a backstory, although in this case i feel like it got a little bit too extensive. This post is not meant to be an Effortpost, because i personally consider it did not take that much effort for me to make (i hope this doesn't sound like i'm bragging or something), but if the admins consider this does count as an effort post then so be it. While i was doing my small research i did not spect the backstory to be this tragic, and this case also really SHOWED me how dangerous an illegal street race can be.
